About Us

2023 will mark the 58th year that the physicians of de Fazio Obstetrics & Gynecology have been caring for their patients. Our practice consists of three board-certified physicians who combine their many years of experience with the latest advances in prenatal care, obstetrics, gynecology, traditional gynecologic surgery and minimally invasive surgery. We offer our patients the convenience of three offices in two different boroughs and an affiliation with one hospital, the New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Our main office in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn has appointments available every weekday night until 7 pm. Our main office in Dyker Heights Brooklyn has appointments available every weekday night until 7 PM and we also have Saturday morning hours in our Staten Island office. Drs. Mark, Greg and Andrew rotate through and have hours at all three offices. We are available 365 days a year and have a 24 hour answering service for those patients that require medical attention after-hours. We are actively accepting new patients though some families have been with us for three generations.

Our offices are very comfortable and relaxed. We try to make the atmosphere informal and have tried to avoid the “medical office” feeling. New patients meet their physician in his office and undergo their initial consultation before being transferred to an examination room. After the examination is completed, both new and established patients will return to the physician’s office to discuss any issues and have any questions they may have answered. We review all test results and personally discuss any abnormalities with our patients. Our staff consists of dedicated professionals who are friendly, polite and compassionate, some of whom have been with us for over ten years. They know many of our patients by their first name and are available to address any of our patients’ needs. de Fazio Ob Gyn is accredited by the American Institute Of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM). For the convenience of our patients we offer in-office gynecologic ultrasound and our obstetrical patients are provided with in-office ultrasound from the beginning to the end of pregnancy.  We also offer non stress testing and childbirth classes. We have an in-office laboratory where we are able to process vaginal cultures and perform a wide variety of blood tests.
